Improve your menstrual cycle

A women's fertility is controlled by monthly cycles and our age.  Many factors can contribute to the disruption of this and inhibit a smooth transition of the different stages.  Whether you are trying to conceive or not Kerry can help improve your cycles with acupuncture.  Symptoms can arise from the beginning of periods right up to post menopause.  Common problems:  Pain, irregular cycles, clots, heavy bleeding, PMT including, depression irritation, anger and tender breasts.  Menopausal symptoms like hot flushes, dryness or mood and hormone changes.  Western diagnosed problems such as endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome have been proven to improve with acupuncture treatment.

Pre conceptual health

This is important for both partners as the state of health at conception will ultimately reflect the health of your child's constitution.  It is advised for couples trying to conceive naturally or prior to assisted fertility treatment.  You may consider acupuncture as a way to aid in detoxification, strengthen your body and improve your health.  Kerry may give advice and support with regards to diet and lifestyle changes.

IVF and assisted fertility

Acupuncture used alongside assisted fertility techniques can improve your chances of successful treatment.  As well as strengthening and improving your health physically acupuncture can support you through the different stages on an emotional and mental level.

Male infertility

Male factors contribute to 40% of fertility problems.  Sperm quality overall has declined over the past 20 years.  Acupuncture treatment is aimed at improving sperm quality and general health prior to conception and during assisted fertility treatments.
